AGo Privacy Policy

AGo ("we", "our", "the app") is a carpooling platform operated by Anvya AI ("we"/"us"). This policy explains what information AGo collects, why, how it's used, and the choices you have — including how to delete your account and data.

How we use your information

To operate core app features: publishing and finding rides, bookings, live location sharing during a trip, in-app chat, ratings, and SOS.
To show your name, photo, rating, and vehicle details to the other party in a ride you're matched with.
To send you notifications about booking requests, ride status, and messages.
To detect abuse, fraud, and violations of our terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who your information is shared with

Other users: when you book or offer a ride, your name, photo, rating, phone number, and (for drivers) vehicle details are visible to the other party in that booking. Live location is visible only to the passenger(s) on that specific trip while it's active.
Service providers: Firebase/Google Cloud (authentication, database, storage, push notifications, crash diagnostics) and Google Maps (routing, geocoding). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Legal: if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users, or to investigate fraud or abuse.

Data retention

We keep your ride and booking transaction records (pickup/drop-off, fare, timestamps, and the other party's identity for that trip) even after you delete your account, so the other party retains an accurate trip history and so we can investigate disputes, fraud, or safety reports. This retained data is limited to the transaction record itself — it does not include your profile photo, contact details, or emergency contact, which are deleted with your account.

Your choices

Location: you can deny or revoke location permission in your device settings at any time. Some features (finding nearby rides, live tracking) won't work without it.
Notifications: you can disable push notifications in your device settings.
Account deletion: open AGo → Profile → Delete Account to permanently delete your profile, photo, and login. See Data retention above for what's kept. You can also request deletion by emailing info@anvyaai.com from your registered email address.

Children's privacy

AGo is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Security

We use industry-standard practices (encrypted connections, access-controlled databases) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last updated" date above when this policy changes. Material changes will be notified in-app.
